Saturday Evening, Jumping Deer.

As I said before, the drive through Montana took us about a day. It’s a long state. We drove it from West to East following I-90 and I-94. Montana is considered as one of the heartlands of America, full of crops in the summer time. The view was really nice and it made for a nice drive.

We entered North Dakota during the night, trying to add mileage to our trip we only made a quick stop of dinner and pushed our way to Bismarck. We didn’t see much, except for a deer. And we say that deer very closely! For a short second, I was pretty sure that deer was going to be sitting either halfway through our windshield or literally on our lap! We very clearly saw the color of its butt, it was white. We were lucky not to hit it, very lucky. Along the way through Montana and North Dakota, we saw at least 5 or 6 dead deer, one of which was still in a windshield!

All this to say that if you drive in those areas at night, be very careful!
